Once a noble mansion, the property has been carefully restored and today it’s a family-run business that offers 25 tastefully decorated guest rooms and produces excellent wines, olive oil, jams and honey. The interiors ooze comfort and tranquillity, with supersized windows flooding the space with light, antique Tuscan furnishings and lots of cozy corners to while away a few hours with a good book.
The property is surrounded by a beautiful 34-hectare park filled with beds of lavender, aromatic herbs and fruit trees, perfect for delightful walks in nature. For those seeking rest and relaxation, there’s a marvelous hilltop swimming pool overlooking the nearby medieval hamlet of Montemerano, while sporty types can practice their serve in the hotel’s tennis court. Guests can choose a seasonal tasting menu or pick from a la carte menu, which includes delicacies like Maremma homemade tortelli with beef ragout and rack of lamb with mint artichokes, accompanied by the excellent wines produced at the farm.
Wrought-iron beds, floral headboards and antique pieces decorate the rooms at Villa Acquaviva, with some including a jacuzzi, a balcony or a private veranda. Each is equipped with a fully stocked minibar, satellite tv, telephone, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and safe.
There are five room types to choose from: French rooms, Classic rooms, Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms, and Suites.
French rooms are the most budget-friendly option, providing a compact 10-sqm room with a small double bed, while top rooms come with some extra luxuries like a terrace, a jacuzzi and a welcome pack containing daily newspapers, bathrobes and a bottle of red wine produced at the farm.

The Limonaia restaurant's outstanding feature is its use of home-grown produce, making its dishes truly unique and genuine. The vegetables come directly from the garden, thus making the menu seasonal, pasta and bread are homemade, and the wines are produced on-site.
